Another important Australian has died today

Peter Brock has passed away today aged 61 in acar accident, the first death in targa racing. He was a very well knownrace car driver from/in Australia, specialising in V8's (Holdens inparticular were a great love of his).

My sympathies to the family and anyone else who was close to thisreally cool guy. His racing career and appearences in TV ads wereclosely followed in my family who really loved his relaxed sense ofhumour and rather funny facial expressions.

Aww...my sympathies to his family and lovedones. Australia has lost a couple of wonderful peoplelately...and so has the rest of the world. I don't know muchabout Peter Brock, but I know that as a nation, it's difficult to losesuch well-loved people so closely together.

Omg! we have lost two well known Aussies in just a week!

i just couldn't believe it when i heard on the news that Peter Brockdied,he was in a race when he lost control or something and then heslammed into a tree,his passenger was taken to hospital but is ok.

just what is going on!!

That must be so tragic to you guys!I really cant believe it. I have personally never heard ofPeter Brock before, but it is so sad to lose two well known Aussies injust a few days apart.
