Another drop off....

Our last cat was this beautiful black kitten that showed up on the back porch at 2am and when I opened the door walked itself right in as if it owned the joint! It was sick and got our three cats sick and we ended up with a big vet bill

Well, today I overhear my son tell my daughter there is a grey kitten outside! I'm thinking OH NO but the couldn't catch it so all was well.

So then my HUSBAND goes out and catches the darn thing!! It's goopy eyed and sneezing green crap and I think it's a BOY (we have all girls but they are all spayed)... he's the cutes thing ever He's all curled in my arm with his head tucked in scared to pieces the poor fellow.

I know kittens dont just show up out of no where so he had to be a drop off again. We live on a farm so I guess we are lucky it's only been two cats so far.

I just wanted to share I already called the vet!!

Great job taking him in! It definitely sounds like he needs to be quarantined and seen by a vet.

I've always found that rescues pay you back 1000 fold with all of the love they give.

I had some unopened kitty antibiotic here and the vet called me back and told me how much to give him for his weight. We got him started on that and he's hoing in tonight for an exam and and a feline Leucemia (sp?) test. We'll get him all fixed up and neutered then we'll probably find him a home.

I told the kids we can't KEEP them all but we can HELP them all. I explained fostering to them and how we'll get him healthy and then find him a wonderful forever home

He's come around very well, he's extremely friendly now and only a bit scared still
