Last night when I went to pick up my husband at work,2 minutes away from where we live, I was driving along the road when a idiot decided to barrel across the road and T Boned the drivers side of the car.

I think gasoline was on sale at that moment so she tried to get to the gas station before it went up in price (sorry a little sarcasm).

I ended up going to the hospital, what a joke that was. A 5 hour wait for a Doctor to tell me my leg wasn't broken and to go home and take two aspirins. It was the same knee that was injured in my last auto accident. I now have the worst headache and lower back pain. I'm seeing my family doctor tomorrow.

The joke of all of this is she told the police office that she was going 10 kph, yeah right, you are going to hit a car at 10 kph and turn the car so that it facing the wrong way. We still don't know if this car will be a right off, as was the last one. Trust me for a 1996 car you do not get alot of money. Luckily we go a rental, however I'm really not too thrilled at driving at the moment.

I've been driving for almost 34 years now and the most I've ever had was 2 speeding tickets over 20 years ago, now within a month I'm in 2 accidents, both of which were not my fault. However with this darn No Fault insurance thats not going to help my premiums from going up.

I can hardly wait till next Thursday, I will be 50, so that means I'll be finished my 49th year. My mother always said that things happen in life every 7 years, and wow this has been a bad year. First I'm laid off in October and now two car accidents in less than a month. BRING ON 50. YEAH.

Sorry this is so long.

Oh, Susan, I'm so sorry this happened to you again! I've been in two accidents that weren't my fault and they were horrible. Fortunately my insurance didn't go up.

I hope you're not in pain for long and that you can get good treatment.

Boy do you have bad luck, or what?! Sorry to hear about your accident (again!). At least you're not hurt badly....that leg has to be a little sore though.

Sorry you're having such a rough year.Maybe next year will be better. Hey, you never know...someone could discover an inhabitable planet and declare that only rabbits and their owners may move there and populate! lol.

Trying to cheer you up :)

Again? :shock2:Two biggies in a month? Well this really isn't fair at all, nope.

Frankly, it stinks! :growl:

Little thin silver lining on that dark cloud, at least you're not stuck with a ton of medical bills like our southern brethren. :twocents

Same advice as last time:A hot bath... :bath:plenty of rest (on firm surfaces)

Complain to yourdoctor :nurseand document every bit of pain and suffering ...

And get a good lawyer and sue the :censored2.

Hope you feel better soon!

Ohh noo,not another accident!i hope you are feeling ok.You can be such a good careful driver but it is always the other drivers that you have to watch out for, sometimes i think that a lot of people are driving with their eyes closed hmmm...

I have only ever been in one accident, and all i was doing was minding my own business and driving home, with my mum in the passenger seat and my two boys and my niece in the back when a car hit me side on,he hit the right side of my car and did damage to my car and the door, luckily noone was hurt especially the kids,we were all just pretty shocked,

luckily for me i had comprehensive insurance and they paid out the$5000 to get my car fixed, all i had to pay was $500.

Soooska you seem to be having a bit of bad luck, ihope this is the last of your accidents.

Man, that upsets me, when you're having such bad luck.

I hope the saying, things happens in three's, so things get better for you now. If that other lady was saying she was only doing 10 km/h, you better get a lawer. With the other accident, things are going to be complicated.

Rainbows!

Hi, just got the news yesterday, the second cars a right off too.

So now we are carless. My hubby is going to look for a second hand car for himself and eventually I will have to get one to. Living in the out skirts of Toronto you really need a second car.

I recommend hot baths or showers, they really help with the day after aches.
