So proud of my bunnies. We entered the Pennsylvania Farm Show this year, and did very well. First Charlie won senior broken bucks and then BOV. Nora won 6/8 solid does, and went BOV. James (Nora's full brother) won his 6/8 solid buck class. Then Charlie won BOB and Nora took BOS.
Kitty showed her Flop doe, Frostie, in the youth. She won the solid senior doe class and then went BOSV.
Sunday (our Polish doe) won broken senior doe, BOV, and then BOS.
Any animals that won BOB down to BOSV had to stay the week, though. I didn't know that before I entered, so next year we won't be showing there. They all seem to be handling it well, except Nora. When I went down yesterday she literally jumped out of her cage onto my shoulder/chest. She NEVER does that, but does always come to the front of her cage for petting and loving. She definitely wanted to come home.
The good news is that I put about 500 business cards on the cages, and they're all gone. So hopefully it'll help get my name out there.
They're supposed to be feeding and watering every day, but every day we go down and their feeders are empty. Which means driving an hour and half down there, tending the bunnies, then driving home again. My internet comes and goes (Verizon's been out here the last 2 days and can't figure it out) and I have the flu.
