Hey everyone!! I haven't been around much lately, my apologies! But I need to ask a favor of you all!
I was just informed yesterday that Louise Hanson, a volunteer with the SCHS has been nominated in the top 10 for Animal Planet's Hero of the Year Award!!
Here's her letter to her friends.
"Dear Friends~
Recently, I was nominated for Animal Planet TV's Hero of the Year Award, for my volunteer work as the Community Education & Outreach Coordinator for the Sheboygan County Humane Society. I am one of 10 finalist competing for the $10,000 donation with will be made to the animal welfare organization of the winner's choice (SCHS for me!) by the sponsors of the Award. Please go to http://www.animalplanet.com/hero and vote each day from 9/14 - 9/27. One vote/person/day. I and SCHS thank you!
Louise Hanson"
Louise is amazing. I wonder how she does all that she does! She not only is the Community Education & Outreach Coordinator, but she helps out with mobile adoptions, SCHS events throughout the year, fosters dogs, and so much more I wonder how she stays sane!
Please, please please help and vote everyday! It would mean the world to her, her family, me and all of use with the SCHS! :biggrin2:
