So, my wonderful mother in law bought me "Animals Make Us Human" by Temple Grandin..

Let me say WOW. What a great book! At first I thought it would be a sentimental book (I don't really like those kinds of book) but it is purley academic. It is about creating the best lives for animals by not triggering thier FEAR system but their SEEKING system (Will make more sense if you read the book)

It is all researched very well. It goes into topics of dogs, cats, horses, cows, chickens/poulty, livestock, and wildlife.

Her introduction and wildlife section was amazing! She knew a lot of new information (I just read an article of the wolf pack image being false) and it was overall a great book.

She also has another book, "Animals in tranlation: using hte mysteries of autism to decodeanimal behavior"

Which as great reviews and I already orderd. She has high functioning autisum, but my brother has autisum but is "mentally retarted" but I still have a high level of connection.

I will tell you guy how it is when I get it (In about a week)

I just bought that the other day but haven't read it yet.

Dr. Grandin was a guest professor of some kind (I forgot the exact title) at Cornell, although she teaches in Colorado, and I've seen her speak several times. She's a very impressive woman.
