Congratulations! Very cool. Angora rabbits are so sweet. Are you going to be saving the wool? It’s not hard to take care of their coat if you do it regularly. I use a set of combs, rounded tip scissors, a seam ripper, gimar clippers and a blower. I recommend working outside as the blower will remove any dead skin or hay bits and it’s quite messy but very quick and effective. Always a treat afterwards.Hi!
I recently got a French angora mix, and was wondering if any fellow angora owners have any advice regarding their specific care, I would appreciate it.

You can always try felting the wool just to get used to working with it. Make a hat or mittens!I have been saving the wool, im not sure what to do with it but it’s cool!
Yes my bun is free range and I have noticed his droppings sometimes get caught in his fur. He uses a wire bottomed litter box to prevent bedding from forming mats. I’ve never noticed any sores on the bottom of his feet and he uses it aboit 90% of the time, so he doesn’t seem to have a problem with the wire. where we got him from he was living on wire constantly How often should I be fully trimming him? The treat is the best part, he gets his highly coveted pellets!
Also, my bunny is very tiny for an angora, some of the others I’ve seen are nearly twice his size. How come?
Thanks
That’s really funny!!I can imagine the kittens obsession!! My dog tries to groom Coz like a puppy
Yeah, some people are very opposed to wire, i think wire litter boxes are fine though.
