I picked up one Feliway diffuser today and ordered 3 more to see how they work. All the literature and everyone I have talked to says they are odorless to humans. Only cats can smell them.... So how come I can smell the Feliway? I put one in Sherman's room and I can smell it 2 rooms away. My DH can only smell it if he is 2 inches away from it. It smells like fabric softener sheets. Also, I feel like I had a big glass of wine - very mellow and have the urge to roll over and wave my paws in the air....

Hahahahaa!! You're so funny...

I was wondering if they had any sort of odor...it sounds like it's not terrible...or is it?

I wonder if the spray would have less or more scent to it?

I worry because my hubby has a VERY sensitive sense of smell and outright gags at some odors...like perfume, overly smelly hair products, etc.

I am the only one smelling it and it isn't unpleasant. No one else who has been here can smell it unless they get an inch away.

Like your husband, perfumes and scents make me ill - especially stong perfumes, soap, etc so i use all unscented products. The Feliway isn't bothering me at all so maybe your DH would be ok with it.

I know I am just weird. I kept hearing noises no one else heard. The light in our kitchen whiness and no one else hears it Finally the doctor tested my hearing and said I hear many more tones than the normal person hears. Maybe it makes up for my really bad eye sight.

Lol...I have the same problem...I can hear TV's whines from two houses away. Drives me crazy when I'm trying to sleep! :?

Not to mention being able to hear various other things...

Hey, maybe I should get my hearing checked...I'd probably find out the same...and I do think it's to make up for bad eyesight...I'm quite blind (can't see further than about four inches from my face)...

Hmm...
