Alternative to Bedding

This is an alternative to bedding but it may not be for everyone. In order to keep odor down it must be emptied frequently, in my case at least twice a day.

The advantage is that the contents can be flushed down a toilet so bedding is not required. The hay encourages my bunneis to use it and they do without and accidents.

I have found a similar approach to yours very sucessful but i add a thin layer of kitty litter to the bottom of the pan and have the wire raised high enough that little mouths can't get to it this keeps the odour down better and cuts my bedding bill in half (which is a very good thing with the number of rabbits i havethese days)
