So I Flipped Tebow over today. and Sure as :censored2:! He has a "pair"
So i'll be making his neuter appointment as soon as my tax refunds come in prob in feb. So my question is.. Because he's older I was told 2 years old. But the girl obviously can't tell the truth if her life depended on it because "oh yeah he's neutered" NOT!! Anyway He's got some dirty behaviours IE. territory pooping, Peeing on me, Humping his bouncy ball, and he smells like meatloaf. Will him being as old as he is STOP all that? because I really just can't take anymore. And I found a vet who does it cheaper than other i've looked at. $160 which is better then the original $459 I was quoted at other places.

Calling around is a good idea, but also ask them if they operate on rabbits and what their success rate with rabbits has been. You might find someone who doesn't normally operate on them but is willing to 'wing it.' The surgery even if it's free will do you no good if the bunny dies. I'm sure you know all of this. I just felt I would be remiss not to say it :D Congrats on your neuter decision! I'm still waiting for my bun's hormones to filter on out as he was neutered a week ago!

I am super nervous about it, I do hope it helps with his peeing on me and pooping everywhere. also will help with my male dwarf who is neutered not be so "sketchy" I hope. lol

To answer your original question, sometimes *some* of those behaviors can be ingrained in them and the neuter won't stop them all. However, I still think you should go through with the neuter though because it still will help some just no guarantee all.

Just ask if they have neutered rabbits before to clarify the small animal thing. Luckily neuters are not as invasive as a spay.
