I held my little survivor tonight. He fell asleepon my chest with a deep shuddering sigh, in a little ball. One secondhe was awake, then suddenly he was out.
He woke up briefly from a weird baby dream, leaping up, twitching, andthen instantly fell back asleep. Then woke again, bit three of myfingers in a row, started dozing, realized he missed one, bit the lastfinger--and promptly fell back asleep!
He kept sighing in his sleep, like babies do. And he tried to washhimself, which was very uncoordinated and totally adorable. His earsstill look like a donkey's even though he's grown!
Mom held another one, which fell asleep with its head back and its eyesrolling, half closed. He was a fat and placid little fellow who sleptlike a rock almost the whole time.
It is SO COOL to finally hold them. Especially thelittle donkey(if it's male, he's mine! lol)
