OMG! It's a hoot! The Cal babies hit the 6 week mark. I wasn't sure whether to wean them now or when we go to the fair, and found everyone was pretty much divided on when to wean meat pens. Anyway, we decided to wean them at 6 weeks, to give them 2 weeks without mom to adjust before going to the chaos at the fair.

They're all running and playing and bouncing around. They're so fun to watch! I have videos, if I can get them to upload (Verizon has sucked for the past 2 months and I'm about to switch to Comcast).

The big horse stall is much better than any old grow out pen. We're adding some fairly large apple branches for them to gnaw and jump over. And Kitty's searching for appropriate sized boxes as I type.

Too fun!! :)

Aw thats what I loved about my cals! I could put all 12 babies together (marking in the ears to know which litter was whos) and letting them play together :) I also like to do it with my tans and my moms polish. babies are hilarious

Sarah, it's definitely fun to watch! I was thinking about tossing in my Flop babies too, but thought that might be pushing it a bit. LOL

Do you put the tan babies with the polish babies? I bet that would be a sight!!

Maria, they're loads of fun! And jump all over, nudge your back to get you to move out of their way, etc. My daughter says I'm obsessed with rabbits...as if that's a bad thing? LOL

Of course i do! As soon as I put the polish in they started circling(lik wanting to mate) each other but I split the trouble makers up and when I put them back together they were fine. Luckily Tans have short attention spans. They all ended up laying behind the toilet together lol

Heres a video

They are sooooooo cute!!!!

I'm hoping the exercise will build muscle, making them weigh more and be more solid. That's the theory, anyway. LOL I weighed them yesterday, and we'll weigh everyone again in a couple of days. If they are losing weight, I can put them in cages. But it's sure a lot more fun watching them running around together. haha

Oh what I wouldnt do to be there with them! They are absolutely gorgeous! I want!!!!

If you're bored... post some of the 102 pix taken lol!
