Crap, That sucks, Because I bought a 50 lbs bag of that at the farm store because i was out of hay. I guess I will take it back 2morrow to see if they got any hay or that timothy hay. Thanks for the info..

I don't know how many bunnies you have but maybe you could keep the cubes and feed them in addition to their pellets, veggies, and hay? If you get a rubbermaid container or new trash can with a lid it would work well for storage.

Some of my bunnies like the cubes and others don't seem to be interested in them.

I have 1 Buck & 2 Doe's, They are to young to feed them veggie's and apples. I should get some Hay 2 morrow too. Thank you

I had a bag of Hay for them, but my puppy is keep going into the bag and peeing in it, So I do not want to feed them that. And it haves a funny smell to it too.

You might get cheap hay down in the farm store or pet shop. You could ask for them to swap, because my pet shop swaps back as long as the item isnt opened or damaged!

Thanks, Misty
if you check out-the house of rabbit society website,,-for diet nutrition--you will see the pyramid of food groups,,non digestible fiber makes up 70% of the diet.ie.timothy/orchard hay--unfortuately--alfalfa is adigestible fiber,,which could be fed as a treat,,if the balance is reversed the gi tract will begin slowing down leading to gi stasis...i hope this is helpful,,.sincerely james waller:wave:

I got them on,,, unlimited pellets and hay and they get one alfalfa cube a day... No fruits or veggies until they are 6 months and older
