Now has an appointment with the kitty rescue in town's vet for her shots, testing, and her spay on Friday August 22nd :).

I was going to take her to a vet in town with the low-cost spay voucher we got, but shots & testing weren't included in the price, so it would have been costly. Juju & Zaide's foster mommy was nice enough to get us in with Miss Kitty's for just a donation. She is so awesome!

On August 30th she will be going to PetSmart adoption days to hopefully find her forever home.

:biggrin2:

p.s....finally charged the camera battery, someone bug me badly for pictures of her so I can find time to take some tomorrow.

Ooo! I want pictures! :) That's so great of you to take on fostering a kitty. I've been toying with doing that myself. Little kitties are such a joy to have around!

I would LOVE to see pictures!!! Is Alaska an all white kitty?

Alaska is a black/tan tabby (tiger) kitty. I named her that because she reminds me of a sticker we have a work. The sticker is of a Grizzly Bear in the woods with the sticker saying "Alaska" on it. The sticker is meant for our key chains that are distributed to Alaska.

She is eating her break fast right now, so I'll bother her when she is done for pictures :).

Alaska gets dropped off at the vet's tomorrow at 7:30am. I have to wake up at 4:30am to get ready and get her out to the vet's (30-40 minutes, different vet than mine) and work 8 hours...ugh.

Wish the pretty girl luck with negative results on her tests and her spay :biggrin2:!

Alaska pulled through just fine. Spay went well, she got all her shots, and was tested. I don't know what her test results were...they never said...

She is groggy right now, so I am leaving her alone and just checking on her every half hour.

Here are some pictures of Alaska that I just took. She is soooo cuddly and roars with purrs, even after her spay :D.

I also took a video of her purring that I need to upload, she purrs VERY loud!

What a loud little purry girl!!! She is precious and will bring lots of happiness to whoever gives her a furever (spelled on purpose that way) home.

Oh, Eileen..I know. She is sooo precious :biggrin2:. Ryan really likes her, as do I, but she came a little too late....as we already have our Zaidie Katt..hehe.

We would love to keep her, but we are wanting a dog and have our eyes on one right now, providing every thing goes as planned....so no more kitties for us. Alaska will be my last foster for now, besides Benson. So we will have 2 kitties, 3 bunnies (not including Benson), 3 rats, and a dog. Unfortunately...the rat boys are aging and I won't be adding more in for a while (I realized a break from the ratties would be good).

ALASKA GOT ADOPTED TODAY :yahoo:!

She got adopted by a younger couple, who has two younger kitties. The couple adopted the two other kitties from Miss Kitty's Cat House...so they were gladly welcomed to adopt Alaska.

Patt said that the couple showed up with a picture of Alaska off of Petfinder.com RIGHT when they were setting up all the cages for the kitties...so they weren't even "open" for adoption yet!

I am soooo happy for Alaska. She deserved a great family.
