Okay, well in my neighborhood there is this very aggresive german shepard dog.
It has gotten loose twice, here are the two stories.
1) There neighbor's were having a birthday party for young kids. All of them were outdoors. The dog bursts out of the house, and corners the man, growling and foaming at the mouth. The dog doesn't bite, but scares the heck out of the guy.
2) The owners of the dog are gardening, with the dog on a leash. It has a big metal choke collar on. Another man rides his bike past the house, the dog breaks the collar, and charges at the biker. Out of instinct, the biker kinda runs over the dog, and falls off his bike, on the road. He gets all scraped up, and had to miss a day of work for his injuries.
The dog didn't bite either times, which is why whenever people file a report against the dog, nothing is charged. We have SO many young kids in this neighborhood, its only a matter of time before it charges at one of them.
Oh and yesterday I drive past this area we have called the "village green" to see the owners with the dog OFF OF A LEASH!!! Is this some sort of joke?
They claim that they medicate the dog when they go to work, so its sedated during the week. What type of life is that for a dog?
I LOVE dogs, but I feel like this one is such a danger to our neighborhood, but the police won't do anything about it.
Im just so scared its going to get someone before its too late
Sorry for the rant guys!
