My female Emmy, was fixed 1 week a go now,
another week or so and she can live with her fiancé again lol
but how long does it actually take for her hormones to start subsiding? Immediately?
How long until they're completely gone?
Not that she has any bad habits -
except no potty manners,
Just curious if I should expect her mood to start changing, and hopefully her terrible litter box habits lol
And Jack's need to still hump her lol
thanks!

They start to go right after the surgery, but it can take a month or even a little more before they are all gone. Be sure to clean the floors really well so she doesn't continue to mark because the smell is there.

It can take a few weeks. When I got Amelia spayed, she had been living with Korr for a few months. She would hump him and it was wanting to mate humping. They were apart (but could see each other) for about 10 days before I started putting them together again. It was about 3 weeks after the spay that I really noticed her not humping him. There is still a bit of humping, but both do it and it is more about dominance than anything else. She was not really hormonal other than the humping, so there was not much more to notice about changes.

Some rabbits start to change right away while others can take a few weeks. It can still take a few weeks to a month or so for all the hormones to be gone.
