I just went down to check her, and she's stilllayed down but got up when I opened the door. When I pet her shejustmelted into laying down again but then got up, ruffledher towel and layed spread out again. I just let her run around andbefore that clipped her nails. I'm really worried as this was what shedid when she had a hairball and I'd just die if I had to go throughthat anymore.

I think I'm over reacting and she might be tired from running aroundand wants some sleep.I offered her celery leaves and she just sniffedit. An hour and a half ago she was eating the oats I gave her so couldshe just be tired? What should I do? She feels warm could it be heatstroke? She doesn't seem lathargic or panting, just breathing a bitfaster than normal. I'm going back down there after I've wrote this tosee how she is and I will post if anything is new. I hope she is jsuttired.

(by the way it's not warm day, it's -3 degrees celcius)

My advice is to just keep her calm and don't do anything for now.

Talk to her and pet her, but don't pick her up and try to calm yourselfdown. There's no need for panic yet from what I'm hearing from yourdescription.

P.S. If you're worried about Heatstroke, you can look at the symptom ofthat in the Cooling your Rabbit in the Summer Months thread. I'll bumpit back up.

Always make sure she has fresh water, of course, and good air circulation.

My bunny Rue is quite annoyed with me after nailclipping, (she won't even take a Craisin). Maybe your bunny just wantssome time to chill after her "ordeal"

Ok, I went down to check her and she's sittingup. My stomache is in a knot now and Ihave a reallybadfeeling she's going through a fur ball or statisbecause I offered her oats again and she didn't take them. She isreally warmand when I offered them to her sdhe flopped backdown again. What should I do? I'm really ina panicnow but i'm trying to stay calm. I'm gonig to go look at her rightafter this.

I'm in tears now. I watched her for a fewminutes and she changes from laying straight up to sitting reallyhunched up and straight to laying down. When she lays down her stomachetwitches and it pulls and goes all weird and she stretches out andwon't take any apple or oats or anthing. This can't be hapening.I'm justbeside myself I cleaned out her cage to watch for any droppings. Mymom is out and won't be home for a few hours. What can I do. I have abad feeling she's going through what she went through before.

I quickly found this article from a rabbitrescue site for gas in rabbits and I'm thinking it might be this.http://www.vrra.org/gasremedy.htmDoesthat seem ok? I can't get to the store but will hope I can go theresometime tonight. She is now laying down not stretched outbut just laying down like she normally does when she's resting. No luckwith the apples either.

I do too and thank you. What I don't get is shewas fine when she was running outside and was throwing around cardboardtubes and crawling all over me wanting some pets and running into hercardboard box and she seemed just great but when I put her back shecame down the ramp and looked around her cage when I put her box backinto her cage then went up the ramp and layed down in a sort of l-ushape and then moved to the cor5ner of her cage and began the sittingup laying down thing. I haven't heard any teeth grinding. Also, whenthey use the term "stomach bloated and as tight as a drum" I don'tunderstand the full meaning of it. Does it mean it's hard not squishyor what..? :S

"Tight as a drum" would mean really hard. I'mhaving a terrible day with my rabbit too. Let me know how she is doing?Feel the sides of her stomach and see if it feels very hard.

Good news she is sitting normal and even came upto see me instead of lying on the side of her cage yay! I noticed somedroppings in her cage and she ate a bit of pellets and took a cilantroleaf. I think it might have just been from being stressed out, you knowsometimes when your really shaken up you loose your appetite?

Well until an hour or so ago i've been a total water fall wreck! (Mymom syas i'm too paranoid about Pepsi, but I rather be worked up andher alright, then her little problems to go unnoticed!)

Hows your rabbit? What's wrong?
