Popcorn's going for a neuter soon (that's for boys right?) He was a very "don't touch me" bunny in the beginning and has since calmed down and will let himself be pet more and won't jump up if he's flopped when you come to pet him. When we had Peaches fixed, he calmed right down and will sit for a very long time to get pet and he likes being brushed (that's not common, is it?) but before he'd come and zoom under your hand as you pet him and run straight off. Popcorn's still pretty independant but like I said doesn't mind being pet now and will sometimes even ask for pets. Will he become even more of a softee after his neuter or could he become more aggressive and aloof. Does a neuter usually improve behaviour or does it sometimes make it worse or worsen it?

I like that he's starting to be a softeeand don't want him to become snooty after he's fixed. Could he become a bad boy?

Neutering only removes the hormones associated with reproducing. Aside form that, any behaviour changes are just a side effect. Sometimes aggression can go down or go away, but not always. If a rabbit is affectionate becasue he wants to mate with you (love dance), he probably won't be affectionate in that way anymore. Neutering will not totally change the personality of the rabbit. An affectionate rabbit will still be affectionate and a standoffish rabbit can still be that way.
He will probably calm down a bit just becasue of the hormones, but don't expect drastic changes becasue of a neuter.

I've never heard of a neuter making behavior worse - pretty much all side effects are positive.

For what it's worth, my boy never liked petting until after he was neutered, so I don't think there's any reason to be afraid that he'll get more aloof.
