Hi, I currently have a cage I have been using for another animal. Looking to changing to a different small animal and I'm doing a little research which animal. In regards to rabbits, I want your opinions on my plans.
Here is current cage. I also have Pannels which I'm gonna make a run with.
Now, my plan is to either make a new level in each half of the cage to make it 4 levels or to lay the cage on its back. Either way I would have the run a permanant feature which the a rabbit would have constant use of.
Would either idea be suitable?

The cage with the levels looks a bit too small and too high rather that wide. Bunnies need space to make about 3 hops in a row and enough height to stand.

The ladders are way to thin and flimsy for a bunny to hop up. I think this cage is more for a ferret. There are other ones like this that are much larger that would be ok with some modifications.

I havent had much experience with panels so i cant relly comment there.

There is some great info on this site somewhere, sorry i cant remember exactly where but have a look around there is some great info from some more experienced members :)
