Adorable! Dimi ran "circuit" in huge circle tonight.. playing

Firstly, let me say that I was told at the feed store that Dimi was a boy and was a Holland Lop. I have since identified her as a girl (why it is Dimi and not Dimitri), and now I am thinking, based on her size, large face, and thinner, longer ears, that she is actually a Mini Lop.

Anyhoo, I just wanted to share something so adorable that she did during her exercise outside tonight. After being out awhile, she started what I call a "track circuit", kinda like an obstacle course. There is a branch she likes to go under a lot. She would stop before the branch then take off as fast as possible, dive under the branch, out the other side, in a HUGE circle (20ft diameter), back to start. She would stop, look at me (I was laughing so hard), and do the whole thing again! She did it 5 times in a row, it looked like an olympic event. She did a couple of binkies a few times, but mostly just raced.

Again, I have had rabbits in the past, but none like this one. She also likes to crawl under the back of my neck while I am lying face up on the pillow on the bed and go to sleep! As you can tell, I am in love.

BTW- neighbor is bringing cat in during Dimi's exercise time.... think she got the msg when her hubby told my hubby to shoot the cat! :confused2:

I took that picture this past Saturday afternoon. She had jumped into a terra cotta pot with soil in it, on the bottom of my potting bench. What is cool is that she stayed for me to run and get my phone camera!

Yes, I am gonna start keeping my Nikon out with me. I used to do that, pre-Dimi, to capture many bird shots. Maybe I'll have something cute to post here soon!

My little one does the exact same thing! Particularly when she is given a treat. She will run a circuit carrying her treat from her play area in the lounge room, through her tunnel, down the hall way, into the bedroom under the bed, back out the other side, back down the hall way, back through the tunnel to finally settle down to eat her treat in the exact same place she started!!!

LOL buns are so funny! Gary (mini rex) and Andre (cat) have a huge loop they run every night around 8pm that includes the stairs! They take turns who is in the lead so I know it is a game. They come up with the cutest things.

I am a little partial, but I think mini lops are the best. My heart bun, Becky, is a mini lop.

So not fair. Twig's will only run the bunny 500 if he thinks no one is looking.:grumpy: So you have to sneak in to see it. The other day I was going to bed and he followed me into the living room. I stood at behind my door with it just cracked so I could see him. After he looked around to make sure the room was empty he did a HUGE binkie then took off running laps around the living room for a minute. It was so cute
