Adopted son Greg not finding a job in California

Just heard from my oldest son Andy's best friend Greg who lived with us for a year and a half...

He has been pounding the pavement every day in California and has had no luck finding employment... for every job he has applied for there are 400+ applicants he said.

Not sure if he is returning but I feel for him as he so wanted to live out there, find a job, go to college and become a teacher.

Not sure if he will contact my dad out there... hoping he will as my dad has made a life out there for 40+ years but not in the location Greg is at....

That's a shame. I definitely know that it's hard to find a job out here right now. I have a lot of friends looking for jobs and there just aren't many available.
