It has been almost three months since i adopted Lilly from the shelter and I can't stop thinking about all the poor rabbits that are still there in their tiny cages:( So I keep on thinking about taking one more. When I bonded two rabbits together (have done it twice) I had no problems at all and everything went very well. But I have no idea how it would go with three. So if anyone could share their experiences with trying to add a third bunny to a bonded pair that would be great. Thanks

I have a trio of rabbits, I find the best kinda trio you can have is 2 females and 1 male!

In any grouping of rabbits I think it is best to just have 1 male and as many females as you like, I found all my females bonded together in a HEART BEAT! I've never tried to bond males but I wouldn't even really try it as any time my males come in contact with each other they take chunks outta eachother lol!

So just go with 2 females 1 male!

Thanks for the advice, I was leaning more towards a second girl. I really do want a third bunny but my husband does not want to rush into things so we might not actually get the third bunny for a while but hopefully I will be more prepared when the time comes.
