Addicted to Wii!

We finally got a Wii on Friday. Yay!!! I'm so totally addicted to Trauma Center: Second Opinion, which is the game that made me really excited to get a Wii in the first place. Emergency surgeries in an anime style? Count me in!

We also got the second Raving Rabbids game (got the first for PS2), Elebits which is the other game that made me want a Wii badly, Wii Play (cause it was an extra $10 when you buy an extra remote), and James picked up RedSteel for himself because it was cheap but it kinda sucks. We need to get a better James-type game but we're done with spending for a little while so he'll have to wait. He'd probably like No More Heroes or Resident Evil.

So what games do you have, and what do you like best? I want to try renting a couple games before I buy them. I'm really interested in the Wario game, Super Smash Brothers, and Okami but we usually wait for prices to go down before buying a video game.

Super Mario Galaxy is the best game ever.

I have Rabbids one and two, two was a bit of a disappointment tbh. :? Have Wario Ware, so much fun! Not great as one player but multi is hilarious. I have Wii Play, I've never played it though, it's my brothers Wii so we have things like WWE, Zelda, etc. Think we're getting Wii Fit soon, looks good, and I also want Mario Kart, which has been getting good reviews.

Yeah, I've only played Rabbids 2 a little and it's fun but some of the games are really lame. Rabbids 1 was great all around. We have it for the PS2 but if I can find it really cheap for the Wii I might get it.

OMG I just spend well over an hour trying to defuse a bomb on Trauma Center! Like another great docter said, I'm a docter not a SWAT Team! Or whatever, fill in the blank!

I think my sister has Wii Fit on preorder. I know she's super psyched about it. I'll play it at her place first to decide if I like it enough to spend $90 on it. Probably not cause I have health problems that I have to be really careful about exercise with. But I watched a demo online and some of the mini games in it look really fun!

We have Resident Evil 4, Mario Party 8, Mario Party Galaxay, Wii play, Wii Sports, Pokemon game, Big Game Hunter, Carnival Games, Call of Duty



My hubby and older son love the resident evil, I like Mario party galaxay , mario party 8, wii play and sports and the carnival games.



I dont play toomuch cause i get mad,lol

We have Wii sports, Wii play, Red Steel, Super Paper Mario (my son says this is "an awesome game"....he thinks it kind of beats out Mario Galaxies, but he's not a big 3-D Mario fan), Super Smash Bros. Brawl, which he absolutely LOVES, Sea Monsters, and Big Brain Academy Wii Degree. The games are really expensive, but not nearly as expensive as the PS 3 games. I still love Nintendo!

Oooh I love our Wii too! We've just got back into it...

Mario Kart is AMAZING!I love it! I got it for Steve for his birthday, and we've had some fun playing it.. We don't like the wheel though, it's a bit unresponsive, so we prefer to use the remote with nunchuck. Although waiting for a replacement nunchuk to arrive as Chalk jumped onto the table and ate one :shock:

I love Wario Ware too! Michaela, how do you get it to be multi player? I can only seem to choose one player?:?

We've also got Wii play, but it seems a bit of a waste to me, not many games to play on, but it's a cheap way of getting another remote control and game together I suppose... We have Big Brain Academy too, but not played it yet!

We just got Mario Kart yesterday and it's awesome! I actually just got back from the store to buy an extra wheel for the 2nd controller!

We have:

Wii Sports, Wii Play, No More Heroes, Super Smash Bros. Brawl, Rabbids 1 (that's mine!), and Game Party.



I want Wii Fit and ROCK BAND!! It's coming out for the Wii in July I think! Yay!

I think you have to complete one player first as far as I remember, then get on the train? Brings you to another area and there's a few multi-player options there. You only need the one Wiimote for it, you have to pass it around so quickly in a random order. Makes you wonder how they expect the wrist strap to be used.

Lol, I thought it might be something like that, cos I can see the 'train station', but it's greyed out! I'm just dead stuck on a bit at the moment, a kind of sword fight 'boss level'? I just can't move the Wiimote quick enough lol!

I remember playing it at a party last year, there was 12 of us all in one tiny room, literally throwing it to each other, and I swear I had never laughed so much! That's what made me decided to get it. At the time, we were all saying 'oh, no a games console at a party, how anti-social' but it turned out to be the highlight of the night lol!

That's how it was at a party at my brother's apartment. Since some of us hadn't playeda Wii yet, people were taking turns demoing and teaching games for us and then we all got into Wii Sports. Bowling is great because you can walk away or chat when it's not your turn. That's when I realized how much I needed a Wii!

And seriously, buy Elebits! It's super cheap, like $20 new and less used, and it's super fun. It's a kids game but I actually don't know an adult who doesn't like it. My hardcore gaming hubby who loves the Hitman games is totally hooked on it!

We just got one today! There haven't been ANY in any store for months. Finally. We just have the sports games that came with it for now. Of course, we love the bowling. Oh, funny story there! My first game, I let the ball go behind me, lol, and all the little people all jump in the air to avoid being hit, it was hilarious!:roflmao:

Hubby loves tennis. We are thinking of getting Mario Kart. Still looking around for games though.

We've had our Wii all of one week now and all I've played is golf. My son bought guitar hero III and is loving it and the rest of the family loves the sports too. I'm so glad I saw this posting because I'm trying to decide between mario kart, mario galaxy and super smash brothers brawl next. I'm leaning toward mario kart at this moment.

I want a wii fit for me.
