Abby is on my list now!

Forget all those nice things I've said about my Abby, she is off the nice list and number one on naughty now.

We have a couch and love seat that are next to each other, with an endtable inbetween, so it's "L" shaped so to say. The area there has beenblocked off from the bunnies, as there are wires down there and we justdon't want the rabbits in a place we can't readily see them.

Well, guess who climbed up on the couch and into the Forbidden Zone?You guessed it! Carpet all chewed up (thank God she doesn't eat it,just pulls the fibers out), and wires chewed! Yes, yes, all of ourother wires are covered up, but not this because it's a 2 gallon fishtank I recently purchased and the area was, so I thought, well blockedoff. When I found her, she was laying in the middle of all of this likeshe was Queen of the world or something.

Needless to say, all bunnies are in lock down mode right now. Valuran wasn't exactly being a saint today either.

Her look was priceless. She was just like "What? Did I do something wrong?"

And Dad is a pushover, he's more of a softy when it comes to them than I am.

Aren't their faces priceless after they dosomething wrong? I came home last night and found Lenciunderneath the table (her normal resting spot). I asked herif she was a good girl and she looks up at me with carpet fiber hangingfrom her chin. LOL

That'd be a no then, right?

I so wish that rabbits didn't like carpets so much......

Crazy bunny! Be sooo glad she doesn'teat the carpet. Basil ate a bunch while I was away and my Momwas watching her. She paid the consequences for it too --surgery! Ok, maybe I PAID the consequences!LOL It's a good thing I love her.

I may be asking to borrow your pot Lissa. They were in lockdown mode, and I finally checked the damage closely. Check this out!

All I have to say is she's lucky she didn't get my heating pad!

Also, nothing was plugged in at the time. She managed to get into aspace that I thought was well blocked off. Me leaving those thingslaying around, pure laziness on my part. One of those "out of sight outof mind" things. Well, it's all cleared up now!

I know! This is the worst cord chewing behavior I've ever seen out of my three rabbits.

Well, ok, in the course of owning rabbits I've had to replace quite afew things: phone cord, PS2 controller (twice), and speaker wire.Needless to say, every cord in their area is covered up and wellhidden.

Stephanie, just a tip for you, we also have a fish tank near our loungand what we did was get some NIC cubes and attach them in a straightline and blocked off the underneath access to the tank, maybe you couldtry that if your rascally rabbit can get under the tank to the wires..

That is one lucky bunny that it wasn't plugged in.


While we are on this topic what do you do if your bun iselectricuted??? Besides take them to the vet ,,, is there things weshould do straight away for them whilst trying to get to the vet.....warm blankets etc???

Good point, I don't know what to do in thatsituation other than rush to the vet. I would think wrapping them in ablanket/towel first thing to keep them secure.

As far as that tank, I took it down today and it's going into storage.We have another, nicer and larger tank that has been bunny-proofed. Ijust wish I hadn't been so lazy and kept all the wires and stuff outlike that.
