I can hardly believe that a year (June 19th) has passed since our much loved and respected Buck Jones passed away :(. To us 'older' members that knew him, he is a great miss, and to the newbies that never had a chance to know him, I am sorry. Buck had a tremendous knowledge and compassion for rabbits. If there was something that he didn't know, then he would search until he found an answer, then pass it on to the rest of us.I miss his wisdom and hishumor.

God Bless, Buck. Take care of our Babies at The Bridge. And to his family and friends, just to say I am thinking of you at this time.

I was about to look up the date. Thanks, Jan!

I didn't know Buck very well because I was still a new member. Even so, his kindness and thoughtfulness touched me.

On the upside, that also means that Loki's Gotcha Day is here. It was the same day. When one door closes...

We miss you dear friend :(

I spent the entire day in bed today (very sick) -- but did keep Carl and his family in my thoughts today.

Not just his wisdom and humour that he passed on to us. He took time to learn about us individually and share his time with us personally. I've kept the same avatar in dedication of him.

Here washis first post to me, when I joined this forum.

Welcome aboard! I must say that the two of you have approached bunny ownership in an almost "textbook" picture perfect way in many respects...from bunny sitting first, to researching, to adopting, and to "lurking" around here to see if we warrant your participation.
I'm looking forward to what the you two will have to say in the future here!

Rainbows! :missyou

Unfortuantely I was a fairly new member at the time of his passing, so I never got a chance to know him well. However, seeing his knowledge and compassionwas part of what pulled me into this wonderful place. Even now, I'll look back through some of his postings when I am looking for information. Heis truly missed.

It was Father's Day last year......I was gone most of the day (had to pick up a load of Woody Pet)....and didn't find out until that Monday. A very very sad day to say the least.

My thought's and prayers are also with The Missus....a wonderful woman.

More later.....

Hugs to all who knew and loved Buck.

I like to think of Buck as Keeper of The Bridge now.

It's very comforting to imagine him welcoming our fur babies to The Bridge and watching over them for us.
