Check out the new bed Raph just got (please excuse the dust and hair under the heat register...lol...I'm not the greatest housekeeper at times):

At first I put him in it and he promptly jumped out. So I tried again, this time scratching the back of his ears so he'd lie down and get the idea of what a bed is used for...and now he won't come out! Mind you, he has to taste it and 'push' the sides every which way with his nose (and tug at the paper I lined under its cushion), but I guess he's just arranging it to suit his personal taste.

This bunny is getting spoilder and spoilder...;)

Awwwwwww, he looks very content with his new bed.

He is such a pretty boy with that shiny blue fur, and those ears are to die for!

:faint:

That is a great pic of Raph! He looks so happy. :hearts

Hi,

I love the bed. Does he chew it? Is it from Walmart? I thought I saw one that looked like that.

Raph is a beautiful Bunny.

What a lovely present! That's a happy bunny right there, all snug and comfy. :D I want to get one now, but I'm afraidthey'll pee all over it.

I've often thought about getting Tiny something like that....but I didn't know if he'd use it.

That looks great -what a lucky bunny you have.

LOL...yes, he does look pretty happy in that bed! Right now though, he is ignoring it. (Fussy guy :?) I'll see how he does with it over the next while...if he winds up not using it, I can bet you one of the cats will willingly take possession. One reason I bought it was in the hopes he would prefer it to stretching out on the floor, as he has a very bad habit of lying behind my computer chair when I'm in the room. I have to be very careful not to run him over when I go to get up, as oftentimes his ears are draped right in front of, or behind, the wheels. The first time he did this I did accidentally catch his ear...shocked me and royally upset him (thankfully his ear wasn't hurt). I've since learned to check for Raph wherever I'm located, as he follows me around like a puppy. Anyway, I thought if he had a bed that he really liked, maybe he would use that. I'll have to put it closer to the computer desk to see if he'll get the hint and start using it without being prompted.

Soooska, Raph chewed the bed just for a minute or two when I first put him in it, and tugged away at some paper I had placed under the cushion, but he stopped not long after. I purchased it at a Petcetera that had opened nearby recently...it cost $9.99 Cdn, not a bad price really. Oh, and I put the paper under the cushion as I was sure Raph would christen it...he does that almost every time I put a clean blanket in his cage...but he didn't pee in this bed. If he does though, the cushion is removable and can be thrown in the wash..in fact, it looks like the entire bed could go in the wash if necessary.

(And thanks Doodle...I just love his ears too :))

Well, so far he has gotten into the bed once by himself....the rest of the time he just stretches out on the floor. Here he was a few moments ago, after a hard day's work (shredding the phone book, dontcha know ;))

I'll keep working on the bed idea...we'll see who eventually wins...LOL
