Isabella has hit the "teens". She's doing all thenormal boxing, biting, growling--especially when defending her preciouslitter box. She's reluctant to come out, aloof, and fights when pulledout. Also, did I mention she terrorizes the dog?
She turned out smaller than Bub--so far--with delicate little feet, long gray-ticked ears, mixed gray and orange lashes ,alight fawn color (like dad's older pics), and an elegantmandolin-shaped body. That Flemmy blood is more distinct, and I talkedto the breeder who thinks there may have been Giant in the line beforethey got the stock. She looks like a little Fawn Flemish (little! she'sstill large!).
So far normal....even the teen nasties.
What I was worried about was that she shakes when I touch hershoulders, and her eyes show a white rim. Loves a nose scratch, butfreezes in terror when I touch the scruff area.
My guess is she's been picked up by the scruff (much too big!)and there's some pain and fear there. I told her young owner to avoidthat when getting her to come out. I hope she gets overthat. The nastiesshould fade (and I recommendedspaying!), but the fear is tougher to get rid of.
Does are so fragile emotionally! Whew! I'd rather deal with a boisterous (albeit disgusting) young male!
I asked her owner whether he'd rather deal with biting and growling, or spraying. He said he'd take the biting.
