And I was given a little male lionhead rabbit for a surprise. Knowing absolutely nothing about rabbits, I hastily did a bunch of research on bunnies, not knowing if he would make a good pet or not. Boy, did he surprise me!
He caught on immediately to his litter box and has not had an accident yet, so I'm free to let him run around the hall way and both bedrooms. The second day home he began binkying, and this morning, he came over and put his paws on my leg looking for pets! Then he licked my head... I'm thoroughly amazed these little animals make such amazing pets.
So now I'm done introducing him, my bunny is named Ares. He's a gorgeous orange lionhead bunny with white fur beneath. Perfectly healthy, I checked him over, which is surprising since he came from the pet store with poor conditions. I've decided to begin setting aside $50 a month in case he gets sick however, and to get him neutered once he reaches the age.
As for me, I'm Juniper (not my real name, of course) and fourteen years young. I'm looking for a job and already a devoted bunny mother!
