1) If a bun's accustomed to a certain veggie, how long can she go without a it in her diet before it should be re-introduced (as if it were new to her)? Example: My one bun is used to green-leaf lettuce butsometimes goes a week (or longer) without it, due to good-quality produce being unavailable.

2) Are curly-leaf (bunch) parsley and flat-leaf (Italian) parsley similar enough to be fedinterchangeably? Or if I switch between them for my buns' diet, should the new type be re-introduced (fed slowly at first)?

I prefer the curley-leaf parsley, butit isn'talways available.I can alwaysfind it, but it's sometimes in bad shape and doesn't even smell like anything, much less parsley. :(

Thank you,

Jenk

I think it would have to be a while before you would have to reintroduce it maybe a month or more not to sure but if its a weeks or 2 then i wouldn't be to bothered.

as for the parsley they should be simialr enough but feel free to correct me if i am wrong it has certainly never caused me any problems in the past but mine prefer curly too

Once they've had a veggie with no digestive issues, you're fine. I believe interchanging them should be fine as well;). If you start to notice sludgy urine, back off of it, it has alot of calcium. That shouldn't happen, just wanted to put it out there.

If I'm not mistaken, I think Sas mentioned once that the Italian parsley has less calcium than the curly leafed.

I don't think that after only a week you should need re-introduction, just give a smaller quantity than usual, in order to be sure that things are okay.

Zoe's not had pellets in a long time, and Emma's currently off of them (possibly for good). So I don't think thatthe high-calcium content of any veggie/ herb would cause them problems. (Of course, I can't say anything for certain anymore.... :p)

The idea of giving a smaller quantity of a veggie/ herbto start (after a week off of it) makes good sense to me. :D Thanks!
