The harlequin gene gives the bunny those prettystripes. The color itself is only showable in the Harlequinbreed itself, although the"broken" version is showable in anumber of breeds.

Yes, my neightbor had a bunny that had stripes,he looked almost EXACTLY like the one you have in the picture, exceptthe black was much darker. He was the biggest mixed bunny EVER.

OMG i love that rabbit carolyn - i agree it doesnt look but like one but i still think it is really gorgeous.

Flower is absolutely beautiful too! Looks a tiny bit like my Flop but a completely different colour - lol! what breed is she?

It would be so cool if that rabbit could becrossbred with domesticated rabbits and produce a cross that lookedjust like it for show. :cool:
 
Well, I started out with 2 mini-lops, but i amgetting bunnies from the mom and dad that had flopped ears with earsthat stand up. Go figure!!

Whenyou are composing a post, you can insert multiple imagesin your post by choosing"insertimage"at the top right, 4th icon over of the "postreply" box. A pop-up will come up where you cantype in the URL of the image(s) that will appear in the post.You can only do this with photoson a webpage that allowsremote linking.

You can also post photos from your hard drive using the "Attachment" option.

Photos that are too large will not load and will need to be reduced in size.

Wow i definately want to see some pictures of him - he sounds so sweet- i have a lionhead and a halequin lop but not both together lol!!
