Hey!
I used to have a gorgeous mini rex until a bit over a year ago (January29th), when she died (possibly of complications relating to the factthat we, stupidly, didn't get her spayed :(). She was sort of animpulse buy, I'm afraid, and was bought when I was about 6 or 7, but Imade sure to feed her properly, change her water and clean her cage, aswell as play with her at least three times a week--of course, as Irealize now rabbits should be played and let exercise daily. I've beenwanting another rabbit for a while now (this time I'll be sure to takemuch better care of him/her, although I still kept reasonably good careof my lovely late rabbit Symmetry). Unfortunately the best time for usto get another bunny is this Easter Monday (we can't drive into thecity on a regular basis because we live in the countryside, although ofcourse we can for vetrinary and pet food needs), and I assure you thisis complete coincidence and NOT simply because it's Easter. I'm fullyprepared to take on the responsibility of another pet rabbit, and Iknow they can live for up to 12 years :). I'm looking forwards tomonday!

I apologize for the lengthy introduction, just wanted to get everythingout ^_^. So, hi, and wish me luck on finding my second fluffycompanion! I'm thankful that this time, it's not on impulse and I'vestudied up beforehand, and I apologize to any rabbits who have had togo through a much worse fate then Symmetry because of neglectanthuman owners. :bunny24

Hello again! Such nice people here. Thanks, everyone !

Anyway, my father was very nice in driving me all over the placesearching for the perfect bunny. I truly wish we could have gone to thenearest shelter and adopted a rabbit, but unfortunately it's too farfrom where we were :expressionless. Eventually we found a small petstore with very knowledgeable and friendly staff who were able to tellus much background info on the rabbits (the lady who talked to us wasan experienced rabbit-keeper herself). I fell for a beautiful browndwarf rabbit (probably not a purebred one, but I don't mind). We're not100% sure what gender he or she is yet, but we'll be able check in afew weeks and this rabbit is perfect enough that it doesn't matter tome :D.
S/he's gotten used to his/her surroundings somewhat since yesterday(after the second time I let him/her explore, Bunny was binkying alongthe floor) and is gradually becoming more calm about being handled.Sadly I can't put up pictures yet since I can't find the cameraconnector thing, though. I'll track it down eventually...
I'm still trying to think of a name. Maybe Kiwi, since she/he lookslike a kiwifruit from the outside? Maybe Meezu, I like the sound ofthat :).
Hee, I forgot I picked that as my username, actually  ... It might be kind of weird, I suppose.
Can anyone think of any good names with no pictures to go by?
Thanks to all of you!

Hi Meezu, I'm also new to this board (living inHuntingdon, Quebec) and I just bought some buns 2 days ago, andessentially what I did was let me buns run around and watched them... Igave they're names by what they did first... one went right for my catfood (which I took away) and got her name of Friskies, and the otherjust walked around and pooped so she got the name Poopers... lol. Kindasilly, but my son loves the names.
