I've found the sprays to be very ineffective(but the flea deodorizer sprays do smell good!) --I've usedthem very liberally throughout the house and on the dog/cat.I currently do dog/cat flea baths once a week, but it only kills adultfleas on the animal and doesn't eradicate larvae or eggs.

Flea collars and most of the cheaper topical applications available OTC are worthless.

Advantage/Program are very effective on rabbits. I've heardfrom a dog breederthat Frontline Plus available OTC is alsovery effective (for dogs/cats only).

Last year I could use Frontline on My Female cat this yearits a no go , very bad reaction , I used it on herbaby Ford and within 10 minutesI had herin the sink Washing it off , I think these2 will never be able to use either one of htoseproducts , tho Ford had no issues with Bio Spot.

I am not sure if they changed the formular onFrontLine but I got it through the Vetand Both reacted horribly .best I can warn is to WATCH your animalssee how they react , it onlytakes a few minutes for it toharm them .

Frontline now contains fipronil andmethoprene. Supposedly safer for cats than the permethrinproducts, however some animals may still have toxic reactions tofipronil and/or methoprene. Fipronil is not recommended foruse on rabbits.

For the safestflea control on rabbits, many sources includingHRScontinue to recommend carbaryl dust, a common ingredientin kitten flea powders and Sevin 5% garden dust. I have usedcarbaryl dust on rabbits for many years. (In rare cases, some animalsdo have a toxic reation).

Avoid using permethrin products on rabbits.
