Good morning all!
1st.....I have two house rabbits that recently moved to an outdoor hutch.Half of the hutch isenclosed on three sides with the other half open with wire fencing. It has been getting chilly here at night (40's) and they don't seem to know that they need to move inside their hutch. I coveredthe open areawith a canvas cover but then they went and sat on the bottom grassy part. Do you think that we need to close them inside iton nights that it is colderor do most rabbits just know to move inside when they need to? I worry because they have always been indoor rabbits.Do they need to be out in the elements to become eventually used to the weather changes?
2nd....I have a new mini lop house rabbit that right from the start got along great with our two dogs. Lately though she has been biting at the legs of ourhuge, elderlyGerman Shepard. He gets mad at her and mouths her to try ad get her to stop. I don't think he would ever hurt her but she is very aggresssive. I tried to break them up this morning and she bit me. Any suggestions? I thought maybe a squirt gun? Is that mean?
Thanks in advance!
