My friend rescued a rabbit over a week ago (it had been running loose in her uncles garden for a few days), and this morning woke up to surprise babies! They don't know how many there are yet and they are terrified of what today in case they end up dying :? I'm trying to get her to join this...

This is my hutch . Tilly has the top level (shes only 1 1/2 lb so plenty of room!) plus free rang of my downstairs for 2-3 hours a night, then Domino gets the bottom two levels and around 2-3 hours a night roaming. Its loads of room for both of them and I can't wait for them to be bonded...

Wow, I don't keep my two outside, but well done for warning everyone else. That must hav been such a scary time for you - I would have broken down in tears instantly :(

Domino is fine with absolutely everything I havegiven him, as the breeder I got him from fed him veggies right from a tiny baby, however I'm nervous to try those ones with tilly - she only gets a littl bit of carrot twice a week at the moment.

Ok, thats why I asked! I will cut it down to a very small bit a week, although they are deffinately not fat (not even Chubby)because the only treats they get are vegetables.

Well I had some oats lying around and had read somewhere that rabbits were allowed to eat them so I tried them, and I've never seen any food be eaten so quickly!!! They loved them. Well I just wanted to check that firstly they were allowed and I normally give about 1 spoonful a day is this ok?

Domino was £40 and Tilly was £7! Such a huge difference in price, and Tilly was/is so much more social and friendly (althoug Dom was still worth every last penny!).

That really is a ton of room - he must be a very happy bunny :D
