    Afraid of stairs

Are bunnys generally afraid of stairs? We just bunny proofed the entire downstairs living area, and opened the baby gate.....only to find our bunny timid about the stairs. He won't go down, and just keeps going back to the rooms he has been kept in. Maybe it's secure up where he's used to?

    Hay feeder

Wow, that is inventive! Thank you for the idea. My husband wants to build something, but I probably have items to use already.

    New Member!!

Hi! I am a newish bunny owner from New Hampshire USA. Our big boy is super sweet. He lets me pick all his shedding fur, and loves face pets and kisses on the nose. Sometimes he wears my shirt....Any pics of your bunny babe?

    Hay feeder

Hi! What does everyone use for a hay feeder with a free roamer? I have the wire cage feeder hooked on the side of my bunny's metal litter box, but it really is not ideal. It slips off all the time, and is getting hay near our heater. It's getting colder and I want the hay away from the heater...

    Vacation care

Update: I got a second friend to come by every day. He's now got 2 check ins a day. I feel so much better about that, and can hopefully relax on my vacation, now. I did tell my husband to set up a pet cam in his room so we can periodically check in, but with two friends to feed, clean and check...

    Vacation care

Hi all! Could you please share your wisdom on leaving a bunny for a whole week while on vacation? We have one friend coming once a day to help care for him. He's an only bunny and used to two children and a house of movement/sounds/ life 😉. He's free to roam between two rooms and the hallway...

    New to bunnies

Thanks all! Lately, he's been completely cleaning out his Timothy Hay. I guess he still loves it. He successfully eats his own size, and has less pellets each day with a big bowl of greens. He's not scaring me anymore about his eating habits 🥳

    New to bunnies

Thank you. I'm not sure exactly what kind of hay the bale he came to me with is, but I just got an order yesterday from small pet select and he LOVES it! He jumped into the box. We have removed the enclosure entirely, and have gated the hall. Slowly expanding his territory. He seems to do well...

    New to bunnies

Hi everyone! I did make a previous post already, but this is my introduction. 🙂 I am new to bunnies, and we (my family) has adopted our friends' 4ish year old male. His name is Sisi, and we all love him, already. I will have tons of questions as we get to know him more, so I'm so glad I found...

    Cilantro as an appetite enhancer?

I've tried to make him wait for his pellets this last week. I'll wait an extra two hours after morning time and see if he'll go for hay. He just gets grumpy and nibbles me. He doesn't go for the hay. At least when I'm looking. I might try giving a smaller amount of cilantro first thing in the AM...

    Cilantro as an appetite enhancer?

I give what he's used to for pellets, it looks like a quarter cup in the am and another in the pm.

    Cilantro as an appetite enhancer?

Hi! I have recently adopted a friend's bunny, whom I believe is about 4. He came to me with a hay bale, and some pellets for his diet. I was told he eats his hay, but I haven't had to change his hay feeder fully for weeks. I have hay spots all over the room, but nothing has disappeared. He will...
