    Problem coat matting and litter...

Can anyone give me some pointers as to which litter I could be using to cause the least damage.? Currently Mizla, flemish giant doe 7.5 kg,has a problem with her coat matting underneath her back end. This is a combination of me not being able to groom her as regularly as I'd like because she just...

Yes,I too had 3 litter mates,2 males,1 female who were all in the same space.I took them all to be ' done' and they all went and came home together. The next morning a male and the female had pair bonded and had really had a go at their brother, leaving him with quote a few bites. I tried for a...

Well what good advice I've had, thankyou so much everyone. I've started changing their diet and going well so far. Today I have had a trainee groomer(18 months in) come to look at Mizla to see if she could help. She managed to start to sort out Mizlas coat. She completely gently hand shedded her...

    Dewlap removal?

Thanks.I have herbs growing in their outdoor area and also in the garden which they eat freely when growing so I'm halfway there. I have as much variety as I can financially so I'll swap the carrots for something else.

    Dewlap removal?

It does have fat in it but you wouldn't give a rabbit liposuction I don't think. It is an actual surgical removal of the whole bulge so they are able to reach their back end to groom and also eat their cecotropes. Mizla has a constant soiled bottom which I have to clean daily. So, she isn't able...

Getting a dog with free roam rabbits

Totally agree and on most days my 2 buns, cat and dog are all sharing the garden together. My cat- Biza also sleeps on the top shelf of the shed the buns have, but only in the daytime when the door is open.I'll soon be fostering guide dog puppies so we'll see how that develops.
