    Dutchess overgrown molars

She’ll be cross with you for a while too! So glad she’s pooped. Patience and cate and I’m sure she’ll be ok. My Sorrel has get front teeth removed completely rather than monthly burring, while 1 vet did this minus anaesthetic she caught her mouth slightly and she hated me for that too, another...

My new buns won’t come out of hiding

May I add 1. Read about the cat method, it is the same. Based on body language and your sensitivity to it 2. If you take the time it takes it takes less time, so be patient and your expectations will be more than filled.

    Dutchess overgrown molars

I agree entirely. I could not get critical care feed, the vet advised me to soften pellets and feed with a syringe, much patience, very small amounts, she will start licking her lips and it becomes easier. I’m not sure what position but I had to cuddle her in a blanket on her back yet I lifted...

    Help with ear scab/scratching

It seems like the treatment is working. In my case I followed it up every 2 weeks for 4 weeks totalling 3 applications in all. I used Advocate. My vet would have given an antibiotic also. Then look again in 2 weeks and so forth. Not easy to stay Best friends When having to inspect ears.

    Ear Edge Dermatitis or Mites??

Update: administered 2nd dose of Ivermectin, stopped touching her ears, and she's been a lot happier. The spots on her head have healed and small tufts are still coming out of her ear edges. It has been very hot. Now, her skin seems to be peeling and she has a bare patch on her ear. Tiny tufts...

    Ear Edge Dermatitis or Mites??

I’m so pleased you mentioned the dental issue as she does have issues with her teeth, had the front ones removed and the back ones ground. The mites could be a red herring for the weight loss and I’ll be taking her to the vet to get them checked and yes! Her vaccinations will be updated. The...

    Deworming question for new rabbit

I asked the chemist for something to treat mites today, he called the vet, the vet suggested the dog and cat spit in treatment Advocat. Once a month although I’m not sure I’ll be doing this every month? It treats internal parasites also.

    Ear Edge Dermatitis or Mites??

Thanks so much, I’ve been offline hence my delayed reply. Yes, stopped using conofite and she’s much happier. Used xeno450 2 weeks ago, can’t get any more so have ordered Ivermectin for rabbits, I’ve put a few drops of old ivermectin as it’s 2 weeks but I’m not sure it’s still active so waiting...

    Ear Edge Dermatitis or Mites??

I found white crusty stuff at the base of the fur on her back just above her tail and a little on her tail. Vet administered anti parasite and antibiotic and I picked off what I could and it is all gone. Her ears though, the skin has thickened on the edge and there are crusty bits. In the middle...
