Hi! I recently adopted this 3 year old doe.
I have no information on her parents as for breed nor color.
I am trying to figure out what color she is, just out of curiosity lol, anyone's thought?
Thanks!
I just rescued a little three months old Mini Rex male
I was just wondering how much growth I should expect from him? (now he is just a tiny bit smaller than my Netherland Dwarf)
Do you think he could double in size?
I'm gonna try to get few good pictures of him (he is black, plus active so...
I would say unlimited pellets until 4 months old like others said
Then I would do half Alfalfa half Timothy hay until she is 5-6 months old
I give my adult Netherland Dwarf 1/8 a cup (2 Tablespoons) of pellets and my Dutch mixes 1/4 cups (4 Tbsp) as they are bigger that my other one
And they...
My bunnies eat HAY
Hay, hay, hay, then they have pellets... I give them about half, even less of what they tell you to give on the bag
In summer they mostly get grass and in the winter Timothy hay
And I give them veggies and fruits too
Maybe dad is Polish x Dutch and mom is California?
(I’m 100% sure one of the parents has Dutch cause I own a “cousin” of her and both of her parents looks like 100% Dutch, and one of them is sister or brother of one of the parents of my other bunny)
I’m pretty sure one of the parents has Dutch in them as you can see the babies in the last picture (it’s the litter of my bunny that is on the picture)
I am trying to figure out what breed my little bunny is...
I know she’s got some Dutch in her blood lines but where did the spots come from? (Her dad was almost exactly like her)
She is a small/medium sized rabbit (about the size of a Dutch)
Does anybody have an idea?
I think pumpkin seeds would help more on the long term actually... it’s the same with humans and dogs! Lol
But I think it’s definitely a good habit to give them some (dry) pumpkin seeds “as a treat”
It happened to me when I got my first bunnies
They where two sisters and they where really healthy
Until one morning I came and saw “blood” in there bedding
I freaked out, they looked normal though
And it turned out that it was the dandelion I was giving them that dark orange/red color in...
