    UVIC rabbit rescue operation

I have droncit here + strongit and fenbendazole. And ivermectin. I bought the dog (purple) revolution. Puppy/kitten revolution has 15 mg of selamectin - the active ingrediant against mites, worms, ticks, etc. While the purple one was 30mg. So I use one tube for 5 rabbits. Instead of one pink...

    UVIC rabbit rescue operation

Aaryn: What was the blog again? My friends wanted to see lol. And I cannot tell if my dad knows about Evie or not. He makes remarks about a new rabbit. And says "You know April, this isn't a sanctuary. No more rabbits". And when my mom said "You know that other rabbit.. she keeps escaping and...

    UVIC rabbit rescue operation

If you deworm everyone now, chances are that they worms may return if you bring in more Uvic rabbits. And you should revolution everyone first and then deworm because revolution will prevent future worms. So I'd have the little guy's amputation first, revolution everyone, and then deworm...

Yay! Glad we're doing a fundraisier. I'm pretty sure I can cover Sidney and Evie myself, but I'm hoping no new sicknesses or parasites come up !

    UVIC rabbit rescue operation

I still have to ask my mom if she can contribute (she's a professional baker). But when she's at home, baking is the LAST thing she wants to do. So maybe I can see if she'll bring donations from work. When is the bake sale =P So yesterday was Sidney's first day of being wormie free. His...

    UVIC rabbit rescue operation

Droncit might work.. but don't do drontal. Tapeworm is transferable but only if you lick your hands after handling rabbit poop or something haha. Hmmm and I don't think Evie is preggers. She could have had swollen lymph nodes and I felt that. Her stomach is smaller and her nipples feel normal...

    UVIC rabbit rescue operation

SO CUTE! The first pic of Darcy and the babies is adorable =] I bought Evie home tonight. Sidney ran up to her and they sat nose to nose. It'll be no problem bonding the two. I know I'm seriously falling behind on some pictures!

Tee hee hee soooo cute! Ma Harley Quinn =P I'll bring over some goodies for the bake sale! It was two Sundays ago today we saved Sidney. And last Sunday we rescued all those buns! I'm actually pretty excited to be returning. Our "rescue" has really made a difference =] I'm hoping to...

    UVIC rabbit rescue operation

Okk so...! When we return to UVic, we all should bring Revolution. I can't from work because I bought all the pink boxes for my little guys. Revolution is also great against ticks, fleas, mites, and of course, worms. So everyone who currently are housing Uvic "ferals" should revolution their...

    UVIC rabbit rescue operation

Erm.. sorta. *I* can do them at no charge because I work there, and if I set it up, it's free. My clinic will charge you otherwise. They don't do any discounted rescue work. I'm not sure about the milk but I'm guessing it can happen! Because it happens with pregnant dogs, so it must happen...

    UVIC rabbit rescue operation

Oh yes the kits would =[ Even if they didn't have any when they were born, they have them now because of Darcy's droppings. Today is day #2 of Sidney's deworming =O And then he can finally be pudgy :bunnyheart

    Deworming Bunnies?

Revolution will help prevent the worms - so it's a good just in case method. I've revolutioned everybunny here since Sidney (One of the seven ferals) tested positive. But once the bunnies have worms in their systems then it's a different story. Sidney started his first dose of fenbendazole last...

    UVIC rabbit rescue operation

Sidney tested positive for roundworms and hookworms =[ Thats why banana wouldn't fatten him up! He's on fendendazole for the next three days. Aaryn came with Harley's poo and we found hookworm! =O So it's most likely that these guys all have wormies in their tum tums =[:cry1::panic::wiggle
