Anyone else's bunny do this? *face palm*

Oh Yes. My little Alice LOVES to sit on the manger. So, I started filling it less and then putting the cover down. Now she sits on the cover and eats out of the side. They are so silly sometimes, and so intent on doing what they want. If I try to move something so they stop doing a certain...

How much does a vet visit & spay/neuter cost for a Rabbit?

 WOW...!! Why even have it done? 50% chance it doesn't work and they could die? I don't like those odds. I hope your buns are doing well after their surgery. Perhaps there is a better vet in your area for the future.

How much does a vet visit & spay/neuter cost for a Rabbit?

You might want to try the humane society. They offer spay and neuters for a much less expensive price. My vet quoted me $500 for a spay. I called the human society and it was $90. Quite a difference. And, they do SO many per year, so they are experienced. Something you might want to check...

    Bunny like to be vacuumed!

my rabbits used to scared of it; but, now they are always trying to look up the pipe. I think they are wondering where everything is going. I have tried vacuuming them and it freaks them out! But, then they come back again to investigate. One of mine will actually stand in front of her...

Rabbit has a booger and is sneezing ( is this a huge concern? )

I know it is so hard. Especially when they can't tell you what is wrong. Poor little guy, sounds like you are doing a good job. He's eating and that is a great sign. :)

Rabbit has a booger and is sneezing ( is this a huge concern? )

I'm sorry to hear about your poor little guy. I am glad you took him to the vet and he is getting the care he needs to get better. What are you syringe feeding him? There are lots of people who can help you here. I am not an expert on this topic; but, have you tried "critical care"? It is...

Rabbit has a booger and is sneezing ( is this a huge concern? )

he could also have what is called "snuffles". In any event you really need to take your bunny to the vet right away. Any time your rabbit appears to be ill it can be so much worse than you think it is. They are great at hiding illnesses, so by the time you notice something is wrong it can be...

    Butterscotch and Goose's Bunny Blog

I am so happy to hear you are finally getting to cuddle with one of your buns. It is truly the best gift... :) The highlight of my day (I know I am pathetic) and I just love it. Most of my girls run to me when I walk in their room and it lights up my heart. I know you waiting for the time...

    Butterscotch and Goose's Bunny Blog

Good Luck on the neuter Goose. I hope all goes well. Unfortunately I don't have any helpful hints for you as I have never had a male bunny. Just wanted to let you know someone's with you today. I'm sure it will be a l-o-n-g day waiting to bring him home and worrying. (I would be a basket...

    Shaking while lying down

All my rabbits do what you described. They get really excited to see me when I get home and will run around. Then suddenly they flop and are shaking. They are just all worked up from being excited. I freaked me out a couple of times. But, then it was happening to all 4 of them and they...

Is getting another rabbit a bad idea?

I totally agree. There is no guarantee they will bond, even if they are both spayed or neutered. If you even have a doubt about it, don't do it. I had a single bunny for 10 years and she was fine all by herself. They tend to bond more with you when they are alone. Plus, as mentioned the vet...

Is getting another rabbit a bad idea?

I have two sets of unspayed females that I bonded with no issues. I really think it depends on how much time you are willing to put into the bonding. Both of mine went pretty smoothly, but, it took a few months for each set. But, it can be done.

    Butterscotch and Goose's Bunny Blog

Spaying them was always an option that I weighed back and forth... I know that it is especially good for female rabbits for the ovarian cancer risk. However, I have always been so scared to put them through the surgery. Just the thought of losing one of my babies was just too much. I was...

    Butterscotch and Goose's Bunny Blog

I know you have waterproof mats under Butterscotch's cage...which is great. Once a rabbit "marks" their territory they will continue to come back and pee in the same spot, as they have marked this as a spot to do their business in. If she continues to have accidents and seems to be going in...

    Butterscotch and Goose's Bunny Blog

I can completely understand where you are coming from Butterscotch. My female rabbit that suddenly passed at the age of 6 was the devil herself. She was the cutest sweetest little thing. Loved to be cuddled and play. But, she completely DESTROYED everything in her path. My rabbits are not...
