Baby bunnies ...now what do I do?

It must be easy to miscount with so many babies wriggling around! Sorry to hear you lost one of the eight, I hope the others thrive. :big kiss: Jo xx

Ebony is barely eating, back to vets 2mrw :0(

This morning there was some semi-solid bunny poop in Ebony's cage and along with hay, she's been having a little nibble at her regular pellets. Thus, she won't be rushed back to the vet this morning but I'd like her to have eaten a more noticeable amount of solid food by this afternoon. Jo x

Baby bunnies ...now what do I do?

How are you, bunny mom and the babies doing? 9 babies for a first(?) litter....:faint: The ears in those photos look Flemmie to me, but our RObreeders can tell you with more knowledge :) Jo xx

    What is my rabbit saying?!?!!?!?

:D She's saying "I love you lots, now pay me attention!" The buzzing sound is excitement I think. Guy makes that noise when he's firstlet out of his cage or he's getting undivided attention. He buzzes as he runs around lol. EDIT: "Your bun is having a HUGE dialogue with you (what happened...

    he's nipping

If you can train your bun out of nipping do. Perhaps I should have trained Guy this way as occaisonally he will nip ankles if in the company of standing humans who are not giving him lots of attention. Most recently, he has taken to getting nippy with my Dad's new slippers - he gets put away...

Can you feel some bunnies spines?

Maybe it's down to the breed, where they store fat and if they naturallyhave much muscle? Guy is not very muscular and I can feel his spine but he has enough "padding" around his hips/back end to suggest he is not underweight. Jo x

Ebony is barely eating, back to vets 2mrw :0(

Thank you for the advice and well wishes for Ebony, bunny friends. Although she perked up after the vets visit yesterday (altho not eating anything extra) this morning she was back down again - didn't want to move, not eating and barely drinking. The vet informed me that a) Ebony had lost...

Ebony is barely eating, back to vets 2mrw :0(

Late last nightI noticed Ebony (my 2kgMini-Lop) seemed lethargic and uninterested in her surroundings - not normal at all for her. She nibbled a tiny amount of hay and drank a little water but ignored her night-timepellets. Little had changed this morning except she seemed to have drunk...

Kicking hind feet - that means happy right? - please say yes

Fluffy used to show her disapproval with a certain flick of her hind legs as she left me in her (wood) dust ;) Jo x
