Hello, my rabbit's poop is strung together with hair. She is eating fine and is running around and acting normal. It has been like that for a while. Should I be concerned?

They've been getting along fine since then. I didn't see any injuries, so I was relieved. I was just shocked to see fur everywhere, and I wondered if they would ever kill each other even if they were bonded.

It took about 2 months for these two to like each other, and then I left them together in neutral territory for about 2 more weeks. Then I put them in non-nerritory for two more weeks and they did fine, so I let them be in the same cage.

Nope, these are definitely different rabbits! Don't worry, I would never just put two together to "see what happened." These two are older and are both fixed.

Will a bonded pair ever fight to the death? I came home and found fur everywhere, but the buns acted as if nothing happened. I got a buck to keep my doe company when I'm gone but now I'm afraid to leave :( If he ever seriously injures her I don't know what I'd do...

I haven't set the date yet. It will either be in Nov. or Dec., depending on when the vet wants to do it. Thanks a bunchfor the advice!

If a 3 month old unspayed doe is bonded to a neutered buck, will they need to be rebonded after she is spayed (when she is old enough)because her scent will be different? Should they be kept apart for 3 weeks so he doesn't hurt her?

Is he neutered? Also, what breed is he? (just curious because I have one bun out of 4 that will sleep on my chest)

Rabbits just love eating. I have 4 and they get so excited about whatever I give them - hay, pellets, greens, and an occassional pineapple/papaya tablet treat. As long as your bun has access to hay at all times he will not starve.

It took my doe and buck about two and a half months to bond - and they've been living together for about a week now. Sometimes I catch my buck mounting my doe, and she is not happy about it. She has already established herself as dominant. I moved to a new apartment - could this be why? I...

She hasn't been eating a ton of hay, mostly just her pellets. And I haven't found any new cecotropes in her cage yet, so let's cross our fingers. If it happens again in the morning I will call the vet. Thanks for the info!

I got an 11 week old ND baby yesterday, and she has been adapting very well to her new home. However, since this morning I have noticed at least 6 clumps of uneaten cecotropes. Should I be worried, or is it just because of the move? Thanks!

The doe was spayed in March and the buck was neutered in early May. The doe is almost one and the buck is 7 months old. This is just strange because it's been 2 months since I started bonding them, and they NEVER once mounted the other one. I thought it was weird that neither one was trying...

Okay, now I checked on the rabbits and my buck was humping her head!! What is going on?
