    Meaner after neutering!

Hello, I have a dwarf hotot buck who is one year and two months old. He was neutered when he was 4 and a half months old. Prior to the neutering, he was a doll! He would lick everyone and sometimes he would sit and lick my feet for 5 minutes straight. After he was neutered he started to get...

    Small poops

Thanks everyone so much for helping me! The vets said "Make sure he is eating lots of hay." Unfortunately, I didn't know this meant to cut back on the veggies. I think it is doing the trick because Fluffy's poops look great! I can't say for certain whether they are back to normal because it...

    Small poops

He seems to be pooping a lot, but they are still small. I think he is eating more hay because I cut back on the veggies last night.

    Small poops

As for the hay, I put fresh hay in Fluffy's cage 5-6 times a day. It is in a easy accessable hay rack that is above the litter box. The hay also falls down into the litter box so he does have access to hay at all times. He doesn't eat as much hay as my other buns, but they also eat more of...

    Small poops

OMG, that is really good info to know! I never would've guessed that Dwarf Hotots can be more suseptible to GI stasis because I do have a 100% dwarf hotot who has the biggest poops I have ever seen! Although, he is 4 lbs, so he is not really a dwarf. This is usually what I feed Fluffy...

    Small poops

I'm about to lose it. Fluffy's poops become small when he doesn't get pumpkin. I've taken him to the vet three times in the past three months (two different vets, too). They both checked for molar spurs and his teeth look fine. My regular vet said if Fluffy needs pumpkin for the fiber, then I...

    Small poops

Fluffy's poops are officially back to normal size! I just hope they stay that way now that he is doesn't get pumpkin anymore.

    Pellets and/or vegetables

Some rabbits' stomaches just can't handle vegetables, so if they really are upsetting your rabbits digestive tract, then it is okay not to feed them. I have heard of a few instances where other rabbits could not tolerate greens.

    fred ate licorish!

Well its definitely not on the list of foods to feed your bun :) If he only ate a little, he should probably be okay.

    Help!

How do you deal with one bunny who eats her share of greens and then eats her companion's greens before he can finish them? Grrr - I don't want her to get sick from too many greens at once and I don't want him to get sick from not enough! She will just keep eating and eating, but he prefers to...

How to tell rabbit's poops apart

Yes, I definitely offer unlimited hay...in fact, it seems to somehow manage to get all over my house :) I think I will try separating them and hope that they both poop in that time. Thanks!

How to tell rabbit's poops apart

Hello, I have four rabbits, two are bonded and live together and so do the other two. How can you tell the rabbit's poops apart? I have found some strung together with hair but am not sure who they belong to. I can't watch the buns 24/7 to see who pooped hairy poops in the litter box, so what...

    Small poops

Awesome! How long did it take? I have been giving him pumpkin since Monday, and it's been helping. I don't know how long to give it to him because I don't want him to get fat from it!

Does Benebac help with small poops?

    Small poops

Thanks for all of the advice! I am glad you like Fluffy enough to put him as your desktop image! I've never fed Fluffy kale, parsley, or spinach, b/c I have heard that it can cause problems in large amounts, so I stay away from those. He loves dandelion greens and bok choy, especially the baby...

Can you ever feed a rabbit too many greens?

    Small poops

One of the vets said to offer more him fruits - b/c I don't give him any - so I gave him a little apple, and his poops didn't seem to be so dry. Should I syringe feed him with water so he gets more?

    Small poops

Okay, here is a quick update on Fluffy.... His poops got bigger for a while but are now getting smaller again. I've taken him to two vets who won't look at him with a scope for molar spurs because he hasn't been acting like he has them (drooling, dropping food, loss of appetite - he is eating...

    Morgan is shedding....

Is it normal for rabbits to molt every month? One of mine sheds like crazy every month, but I thought it was supposed to be like every 3 months...
