Momma Luvbun, Arnold was gorgeous and sweet and totally devoted to his girl bunny. Thank you for your kind words. We will see about getting Dutchess a new friend but he couldnever replace Arnold who was a one of a kind sweetheart.

Both vets said Arnold had no symptoms of e cuniculi so they wouldnt test for it. We are wondering if he maybe had a clot and heart failure. We are very sad and so is Dutchess, his girl bunny.

Dutchess just lost Arnold suddenly. He was older, and began dragging his back legs. We took him to two vets but despite hand feedings, meloxicam, and careful attention to not hurt his back, he just died. Would it help to get her a new mate or ? We put her stuffed animals in with her. We are all...

Our beloved Arnold passed suddenly today. He leaves behind his devoted Dutchess bunny. We will miss him greatly.

JBun, thank you. What is vet bed material? Right now, i have Arnold on a towel, with a hand towel and paper napkins under his rear end, and so far, he is staying pretty clean (except when Dutchess, his mate, removes the paper napkins).

Just took Arnold to our regular vet. He said prognosis is very poor because Arnold cannot feel his back legs. He is going to look at the xrays. Arnold is eating well. Vet says Arnold cannot control his urination or defecation. Quality of life issue...can i provide Arnold with a happy life?

Thank you. Just gave Arnold the meloxicam two hours ago. He is eating hay and seems happy, snuggling his girl bunny. Will try to focus on giving Arnold a good and happy life.

We use timothy hay and orchard grass. With guinea pigs, we have ysed BeneBac for probiotics.

Just heard from vet. Arnold has no feeling in his hind legs which he said gives a poor prognosis. Vet took two xrays, found nothing wrong on xrays. I am devastated as we love Arnold. Asked to put him on meloxicam, and will bathe him daily until we can give him a chance to get better. Am also...
