    Unknown Cause Of Pregnancy Death

Am so sorry for the loss of your mother rabbit. I lost a female guinea pig once during the birth process because one baby was too large for the mom to deliver. She had tetany, and the vet tried to remove the baby after oxytocin, but we lost mom. Her other babies could not come out because of the...

    Dutchess overgrown molars

Spent hours today cleaning out Dutchess’ two old outdoor cages. Then let her go in one cage for an hour. She recognized it instantly, sniffed it everywhere, then did a lot if grooming. Planning to take her out for a few hours every day, so she can get some sun/vit D. Still at a loss on how to...

    12yo buns w/ tooth/jaw abscess

Do you have access to a yard with wild grass? Or a grocery with wheat grass? Would consider planting grass seed then letting Clara eat it. Our bunny with tooth problems will start eating if i give her kale and trimmed lawn grass. Wishing the best for you and for Clara.

Can my rabbit wear his top teeth down without bottom incisors?

Bunnies can still eat hay without incisors, and from my limited knowledge, have read that hay is essential to prevent molar problems. If the bunny can no longer chew hay, Oxbow has two hay-based critical cares.

Add a pic of your toothless rabbit?

Sorry, havent had bunnies with incisors removed. We have had guinea pigs who broke incisors who ate ok, and we have a cat who had to have her teeth all removed due to severe dental disease(was a rescued stray) who recovered and eats well. Am wishing for the best for your bunny.

Floppy paralysed foot - Help and advice Please!!

Sorry to hear Simba has a foot problem. Have read that sometimes after trauma the limb will recover. Might Simba have arthritis? When our poor male, Arnold, lost use of both hind legs, xrays didnt show anything. Did vet talk about a brief trial of a steroid? By the time we got Arnold into a vet...

Advice for a 5 year old lionhead?

Our bunny showed some bladder sludge just on a simple xray, so that might be an option to check her gi and urinary tracts.

Any tips for slowing down dental spurs?

Have been researching this because our lionhead, Dutchess, has spurs and overgrown roots on xray. Here is one of the articles i found, suggesting time outside in the sun, vit D and calcium, etc. https://knowledge.rcvs.org.uk/document-library/fellowships-harcourtbrown-t-692/harcourt-brown-20578.pdf
