Is our little Lionhead overheated or is there something else wrong?

I'm not sure what's wrong but if you are worried about her being too warm, put a few floor tiles in the freezer and when they're nice and cold put one in her cage so she can lie on it to keep cool. Then swap them out when they get warm again.

Is there any other solution to anesthesia for filing teeth?

I had a bunny that got his teeth filed down at the age of 8. He did fine. He was choking on certain foods and on cecotropes and it was super scary so I decided I would rather he die peacefully under anaesthesia than during a choking fit. He was good for about 8 months after the dental procedure...

    Hi, new here...

I am partial to mini Rex rabbits and usually they have great personalities. I've heard the dwarf breeds are skittish with major attitude. Also I find that you can hardly tell their true nature in the shelter. After a few weeks in their new home they settle in, get comfortable and show you who...

    Mounting a stuffie

I'll keep trying. Rabbits are like babies, when you want to video something cute they will do everything but.

    Mounting a stuffie

Well, I know people give their bunnies stuffies and was wondering if they mount them so enthusiastically!

    Mounting a stuffie

I gave Cali a stuffed rabbit to play with, it's supposed to be a surrogate rabbit that looks real and I got off binkybunny.com years ago for another bunny that never took to it. Well to my amused shock Cali was quite aggressively mounting it and grooming it, sometimes giving it nips all over...

    Raisins & scratching/nipping

Raisins and craisins are fine. Just give one or two as a treat or reward. Let's not get all doomsday about it. Also, the behaviour sounds like he's having fun! Being a youngster and all that. Mini Rex have nice personalities generally. If you intend to neuter I'd start doing some light reading...

    Lop digging out litter.

Sigh.. my spayed doe digs out her litter box almost daily. I use wood pellets. She pees in them, makes them sawdust and then digs out the whole works. Her litter box is big with high back and sides. She just loves to dig and I haven't been able to find a way to stop it. So I feel your pain.

    Say hello to Chip...

Chip is doing really well. He has settled in nicely and accepted us as his family. Except Cali of course, they still live apart in side by side large enclosures. We switch them out every evening so they can live in each other's stinkiness. Just kidding their homes are quite clean. Anyway chip...

I Have Suspicions That The Renter Hurt My Rabbit

If you are a minor living with your parents and there is a suspected animal abuser living on your premises then your folks should certainly pursue eviction. Like yesterday.

    Small alarms

You can buy fresh mint at the grocery store, lots of bunnies go for that. Also try other herbs like cilantro and parsley.
