Very cute! For future reference, a half vinegar, half water mix does wonders to remove those stains caused by urine on the litter box and cage. Especially if you let it sit. That’s what I use to clean my rabbits litter boxes every couple days. I just keep an old spray bottle filled with that.

Lovely rescue story. I would recommend a bowl for water that can’t be tipped over rather than a bottle. I use one of those that fills itself. Sometimes they struggle with the bottles. Can’t wait to see pics.

Rescues and shelters have rabbits that are already spayed/neutered. It's a great deal and you could take your bunny there to meet and choose a potential mate. But she'd have to be spayed first. Start saving. In the meantime research toys and activities, give her some tunnels and cardboard boxes...

They have short ears it looks like, so not mini Rex. Some kind of dwarf breed maybe? Cute in any case. I feed my two rabbits fresh greens twice a day. About a cup a serving. It depends on their size and weight. They get romaine lettuce, cilantro, parsley, mint, dandelion, sometimes those mixed...

Get the new guy neutered and make sure his hormones have calmed down enough after before you try taking them on dates. Hopefully it works out between them. If not, have a plan for how you will house them separately and all that. Good luck! They sound sweet!

In my opinion, yes they are happier with their own kind, someone who speaks their language, someone to cuddle with, groom and steal veggies from. Rabbits are smart and social animals. That being said, finding the right mate can be challenging and takes time and patience. But in the end it's all...

Personally I don't trust them. I don't think those fumes are safe to breathe continuously. If you clean the litter box daily with a half and half vinegar water solution that really should suffice. I'm sure when she is spayed the smell will subside quite a bit. Perhaps you could crack a window...

Agreed, but OP did say she felt the bunny's tummy and it was soft, so I suggested the critical care. It's hard to diagnose them though for sure.

Simethicone 1 ml each hour x 3 doses. Syringe some water into her if you know how. 10 ml of critical care slurry every 4-6 hours. Offer hay and greens often by hand feeding. Warm her up with a warm water bottle. Lots of tlc. If she doesn't start eating or pooping within 24 hours of this starting...
