You could try a vinegar, baking soda, lemon scrub. I have soaked & then scraped the spots in my buns litter boxes to remove those kind of spots.

I dump my litter trays into my sun flower garden. I use pine pellets as litter. We will till it all into the soil in the spring. I've never had any kind of an issue, but since we use a rototiller & churn it all together, that probably helps.

1st check with the animal rescues, vets & any other resources in your area for help with the cost of a neuter. Many places will give low cost vouchers. 2nd, I had a male that was the same way. Sprayed EVERYTHING that moved. I got him neutered at 2 1/2 & he stopped spraying.

His care really will not be that different than your other rabbit. If he gets the thick wool of a lionhead, you will have to make sure he doesn't get matted. But he doesn't look like he will be super woolly. I have 2 lionheads with similar coats & they do an excellent job of grooming themselves.

Domesticated rabbits cannot mate with true wild rabbits. Now, if you have domestic wild rabbits, that would be an issue.

You need another opinion. How long has it been dislocated, any idea? I would think if they sedate her and manipulate it back into place and then you keep her immobile while the muscle & joint heal it would be fine. Please get a 2nd opinion.
