Home needed for female mini-lop- Wheeling, WV!

Several months ago I was introduced to Sophie, an 8-week-old white mini-lop. I advised the new owners that she had malocclusion and would frequently need vet care. The lop is now 7 1/2 months old, and the owners have decided that they don't have time to properly care for her anymore. I will be...

    Georgie Bunny's blog!!

No, Georgie would NOT look good in Michigan!! He is for West Virginians only!! :biggrin2: Georgie's veggie shelf was actually one of those little ledges/ramp that you can get at the petstore. I had it left over from one of my chinnie's cages and thought he'd love it. Since he's upgraded his...

Think I can feed Georgie chin pellets?

I was wondering if I could feed Georgie the same pellets that I feed to my chinchillas. I use a 50/50 mix of two pellets; one is alfalfa-based and one is timothy-based. Here is the analysis for the alfalfa-based pellet: Guaranteed Analysis Crude Protein, Minimum ...... 16% Crude Fat, Minimum...

    Bathing?

    Bathing?

Georgie is molting REALLY badly right now. I keep brushing and brushing him, and it's doing absolutely nothing. When Stewart (my dog) starts shedding really badly, a bath always helps. Can you bathe a rabbit? If I bathe him in warm water and blow-dry him afterwards, would it be okay? Can I use...

    REHOME: Western PA

I have two friends (they are sisters) that want to adopt buns, so I'll ask them about these two. I'm about an hour away from you, so if you know of someone othat wants to take them in, I can help transport.

giving Georgie rescue remedy before nail trimming?

Getting Georgie's nails trimmed is a rather life-threatening endeavor (FOR ME!). He bites and claws and will do anything and everything to stop me from trimming his nails. I've tried giving him a treat after every nail and it didn't work. I found this rescue remedy stuff online...

    Before and After

Brand new Georgie, about 3 months old? I think... A few weeks later (have to show the progression of his ear flops): Now, Georgie Bunny at 9 months (maybe?) old: He acquired a nickname at the vet's because of his size, and now requests that I include his title whenever I reference him...

    Cottontail babies!!

I saw the baby bunny tonight...my sister almost stepped on him. I was desperately hoping that he made it away on his own. If I see him again, I'm going to try and catch him then release him somewhere else. I don't think I could stand it if one of the dogs caught him. Do you think I should do...

    Cottontail babies!!

Hazel is adorable!! I checked the area where I released the last bun yesterday, and it looks like he's gone. The apple slices that I left there are gone as well, so either he and/or his mom ate them, or a deer. I'm hoping it was him!!
