    Hay storage

I read to keep hay in a dark, cool, low humidity environment with airflow to increase its shelf life. I keep my hay in its original bag and I keep it in the breezeway. But it's so humid here and it seems the hay I put in her rack gets moist. Moist is a strong word... what I mean is it doesn't...

Scared out of getting a 2nd rabbit

This place was a generic shelter but I do have local rabbit shelters I've been stalking but no wool rabbits yet.

Introducing a male to a bonded pair (male & female)

I don't have experience and I hope someone can answer better than me but I always thought bonding was a slow process while slowly incrementally increasing their space between each other. Not giving them open space right away.

Scared out of getting a 2nd rabbit

Long story short... I feel bad and guilty for having my rabbit be single. I've spent lots of money and time making toys for her and she just doesn't play. She flops every once in a while but doesn't binky anymore. She is free roam. I've tried everything to make this little girl happy and deep...

New here and looking to get a rabbit in a littler over a year.

Sounds like you have a good plan! I use to have rabbits when I was younger too and it seems the way that we treated them, and how it was socially acceptable to treat them back then is way different than it is now. (Thank God). I feel terrible knowing what I know now but you live and you learn. :))

Help!! Missing fur on sole of feet!

I would cut her nails, and put a cheap fleece blanket in her cage to offer more cushion. Then monitor how she is healing. If you can't cut her nails yourself, I would bring her to the vet and have them do it and you can also ask about what else to do with the sore hock.

Help!! Missing fur on sole of feet!

What kind of cage does she live in? Specifically what is the flooring like in the cage?

    Is free range really better?

This is the room my bunny is free range in. I keep the door open but she doesn't like the hardwood flooring in the other room so she never goes on it. I'll try to make a little more of a designated bunny space.

How to keep hay in and how many litter boxes?

As for hay... put it where your rabbits will eat it. I've tried hay racks but my rabbit refuses to use it. I use to put it in my litterbox but now I have a litterbox with a hay rack connected that she uses.

Leaving Bunny alone for ?# of days

I agree with blue eyes 100% Just leave instructions for your friend. He doesn't need to touch the bunny at all, He probably shouldn't. I don't think it's a good idea to leave a large bowl of pellets. Just have your friend give a small spoonful a day like blue eyes said. I would also leave a...

    Is free range really better?

I find that my rabbit binkies less and runs around less when she is free range then when she is in an x-pen and I let her out. I get that the x-pen is like jail and when she's free she's happy and excited and wants to run. My rabbit is free range in a large room now for a couple weeks and she...

    Grated litter box

That screen keeps the poop on top which I don't get. I want one that makes the poop fall down. My bunny is potty trained but when she jumps in and out poop comes with it so there is always poop around her area.
